Crowns

Crowns are one of the best solutions for bringing your tooth back to a healthy state. A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over your tooth to restore its shape, size or strength and  improve its appearance. When crowns are cemented into place in your mouth, they fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line, enhancing the aesthetic beauty of your smile.

There is no need to go home with annoying loose-fitting temporaries because you can walk out with your new CEREC® made crown the same day. You will have little to no gum irritation after the crown is expertly placed by Dr. Meyer, allowing your gum tissue to heal faster than you would have healed with traditional crown procedures of the past.

The ceramic material used by the CEREC® AC Powered by Bluecam to mill your crown is made of ‘pressed’ porcelain – it’s stronger and more durable than the porcelain used by most dental labs. The properties of the ceramic composite material will leave no unsightly metal appearance around the gum line or stain your gums like inferior metal crowns will. The best part is the crown is fired in a special kiln to exact specifications and all of this happens right in the office of Dr. Meyer while you wait.
