Neuromuscular dentistry is the most highly innovative study of dentistry. Dr. Meyer has studied, practiced and believed in its principles since his inception into the dental field in the early 90s. It is based on the principles that there is more to dentistry than just the way the top teeth come together with the bottom ones. There is more importantly a relationship between the teeth, the head, neck, and jaw muscles, and the temporomandibular joints that affect one’s overall health.

Neuromuscular dentistry is not only effective when treating typical “TMJ” patients suffering from jaw and headache pain, but it plays a very important role for Dr. Meyer in all aspects of his dentistry from cosmetic procedures to orthodontic treatments, restorative and prosthetic procedures.
